Grant: Social, political and economic inequality Programme

The Russell Sage Foundation invites letters of inquiry for its social, political and economic inequality programme. This supports research on the many factors that contribute to inequality in the US and the extent to which social, political and economic inequalities affect social, psychological, political and economic outcomes, including equality of access and opportunity, social mobility, civic participation and representation, and the intergenerational transmission of advantage and disadvantage. Proposed projects are expected to be investigator-initiated. Methodological variety and interdisciplinary collaboration are encouraged.

The ACR Board and Sheth Foundation are continuing to generously provide funds to support the ACR TCR grant competition. AMA's Consumer Behavior SIG is offering research grants on Managerially Relevant Consumer Insights

AMA are offering a number of competitive research grants on the theme of Managerially Relevant Consumer Insights in the range of $1000-$1250 each.

One key objective of research funded by CBSIG is to demonstrate how insights and research on consumer behavior can be used to enhance managerial or public policy decision making, and particularly how to support strategy formulation and implementation efforts. The outcome of such an approach will be consumer-based strategies for business performance and policy making.

This research funding seeks to advance theory and evidence relating consumer insights to business strategies. Wide range of research ideas accepted: behavioural papers with field studies, consumer behavior projects based on research collaboration with industry, ethnography for market strategy purposes, as well as other approaches to creating strategically relevant consumer insights. They welcome submissions from any methodological paradigm; the key is a focus on consumers and managerial insights.

Deadline 11 June 2021

Engage with Us

TCR creates opportunities for engagements between practitioners, funders and researchers, and supports efforts of scholars and practitioners to disseminate and publicize their research and work, and obtain mentoring and advice on grant applications.

While many of these opportunities are freely available, we encourage scholars and practitioners to become a member of the Association of Consumer Research to help continue funding our work and to obtain additional benefits.
