President-Elect

June Cotte, Ivey Business School

June Cotte is the Scott and Melissa Beattie Professor of Marketing at the Ivey Business School, Western University. Her current research interests focus on two diverse themes: consumer welfare issues and the marketing implications of online systems. Her work has appeared in the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Consumer Psychology, MIT/Sloan Management Review, a host of other journals and books, as well as in the Wall Street Journal. June currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Marketing, and the Journal of Consumer Psychology.

In terms of ACR service, June has been a member of the Association for Consumer Research since 1995, and served a term on the Board as an At-Large Director. She was a Co-Chair for the 2014 ACR Conference (Baltimore), as well as for the 2011 Asia-Pacific ACR Conference in Beijing. June has attended all of the North American conferences since 1996 (plus Berlin), participating in most conferences either as a presenter, discussant, reviewer, special session organizer, or program committee member. When ACR’s former website was launched, she served as Associate Editor of the “For Managers” content area for several years (2004-2007). She believes very strongly in the inclusivity and diversity initiatives that the current ACR Board has begun, and would be committed to those ideals.

In terms of other service to the field, in 2019 she Co-Chaired the AMA Consumer Behavior SIG's first conference (in Switzerland) on "Managerially Relevant Consumer Insights," and she is currently the Chair of the AMA-CBSIG. June was also a member of AMA's Academic Council for a three year term. June has also served as the Liaison between the Sheth Foundation and the American Marketing Association.

For the last five years, June, along with Joan Ball, has run the "Designing a Career in the Marketing Academy" initiative, geared for young female marketing scholars. June has also served as a faculty participant at AMA-Sheth, ACR, and SCP Doctoral Consortiums. http://www.ivey.uwo.ca/faculty/June_Cotte.html jcotte@ivey.ca
