ACR Virtual Social - March 13th!

ACR Virtual Social continues in March, featuring the “Meet the ACR Board Members and Top Journal Editors” Series! We also have a methodology workshop (social media and consumer data crawling) in September given by a mathematician/statistician!


Join Co-Host Dr. Russell Belk on March 13th to meet with friends and colleagues or to make new connections.


In the year of 2023, we also decide to give something out to appreciate your time! At the end of each event, we will randomly select one lucky attendee to receive either $50 off the student registration or $75 off the regular registration for the conference registration (non-transferable)!

·         Faculty and Student members are welcome.

·         Active Membership at the time of the event is required.

·         The event duration is 1 hour.

·         While the event times are planned to allow members to attend within a specific time zone, absolutely any ACR member is welcome to attend.

·         Attendance will be capped at the first 50 members to sign-up.

·         Once registered, look for an email the week of the event for Zoom login details.


Dr. Russell Belk, is the co-founder of the Association for Consumer Research Film Festival and has over 550 publications. He is currently on the editorial boards of 20 journals and is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Consumer Research. He is the past president of the Association for Consumer Research and the International Association of Marketing and Development and is a fellow of the Association for Consumer Research and the American Psychological Association. He has received the Paul D. Converse Award, two Fulbright Fellowships, the Society of Marketing Advances Distinguished Marketing Scholar Award, and honorary professorships on four continents. In 2005 he received the Sheth Foundation/Journal of Consumer Research Award for Long Term Contribution to Consumer Research.
