COVID PRECAUTIONS FOR ACR 2022

ACR is tracking emerging news regarding COVID-19 and its variants. The ACR Board and the ACR 2022 planning team are continuing to monitor guidelines for health and safety provided by the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as COVID-19 information and recommendations from the city and county of Denver and state of Colorado.

To reduce the risks of convening in person to the ACR community, we ask that all in-person attendees be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Masks will be provided and mask-wearing is strongly encouraged during the conference except when you are eating and drinking or actively presenting. Our event planning team will maximize social distancing at luncheons and social events. We ask that you allow for social distancing when possible and respect other attendees’ preferences for contact. The doctoral symposium will follow similar guidelines.

ACCESS TO VIRTUAL CONTENT

For those who are unable to attend ACR 2022 in person, we will be providing virtual access to synchronously view the plenary sessions, including the ACR Presidential Address and Perspectives & Prospects panels, one track of presentations throughout the conference, and other content such as films. Participants will pay a reduced registration fee for access to view this virtual content. Because of the interactive nature of the doctoral symposium, virtual participation won't be possible.

CONFERENCE CANCELLATION POLICY

If you register for ACR 2022 and become unable to attend the conference (e.g., due to travel restrictions from your government or your university, or illness) please send a written notification of cancellation to Rajiv Vaidyanathan, Executive Director of ACR (acr@acrwebsite.org). Your registration will be switched to the virtual track and the balance will be refunded to you.

IF YOU TEST POSITIVE IN DENVER

Please notify ACR (acr@acrwebsite.org) if you test positive for COVID-19 during the conference. The Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel has agreed to extend the conference group rate for anyone who must quarantine, if necessary, beyond the conference dates. ACR will inform attendees of any known potential exposure and share relevant CDC guidance.
