2021 ACR BEST WORKING PAPER AWARD

AUDENCIA BUSINESS SCHOOL AND YORK UNIVERSITY RESEARCHERS WIN
2021 ACR BEST WORKING PAPER AWARD

The Association for Consumer Research (ACR) announced Vitor Lima (Audencia Business School) and Russell Belk (York University) as the recipient of the 2021 ACR Best Working Paper Award at its annual conference in October.  Their paper, “Human Enhancement Technologies for the Übermensch Consumer” was selected out of a pool of 317 working papers presented at the conference.  The winners were selected by the track chairs Liat Levontin, Rima Touré-Tillery, and Echo Wen Wan based on evaluations from multiple reviewers who considered this to be outstanding work with the potential to make a significant impact on the discipline.

“ACR is an extremely competitive conference and this paper represents the best of the best”, said Rajiv Vaidyanathan, Executive Director of ACR and Professor of Marketing at the University of Minnesota Duluth.
