2020 ACR Nicosia Award

The Association for Consumer Research (ACR) announced Joshua Lewis, an Assistant Professor of Marketing at NYU Stern School of Business, as the recipient of the Franco Nicosia Award for the Best Competitive Paper at its annual conference in October. The paper, “Why Consumers Disproportionately Invest to Improve Outcomes That Are Already Favorable,” was selected from a pool of 325 papers presented at the conference (from a submission pool of 725). The winners were selected by the conference chairs Jen Argo, Tina Lowrey, and Hope Schau based on evaluations from multiple reviewers who considered this to be exceptional work with the possibility to make a meaningful influence on the discipline.

The Sheth Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to develop and recognize scholars and scholarship in marketing globally and further the development of marketing thought.
