Call for ACR Officer Nominations – ONE WEEK LEFT

The ACR Officer Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for the ACR Board position of Academic-Government Perspectives Director. Self-nominations are encouraged!

Nominations should include the following information:
  • Name of the individual
  • Their place of employment
  • Position they are being nominated for (Academic-Government Perspectives Director)
  • A 200-word bio
  • List of involvement with the ACR conference over the past 5 years (e.g., presentations and attendance, reviewing, program committee, etc.)
  • Other leadership positions held in the field
  • A brief description of why you think the nominee(s) would be a good officer of ACR
 
Nominees must be current ACR members. Further, if members have been nominated previously for a position and were not elected they are welcome to be nominated again.

If the nominee is selected to run, the nominee will be slated for the following position.

2021-2023 Perspectives Director (Academic-Government)
General Duties & Responsibilities
The Perspectives Director (Academic-Government) is responsible for representing the academic-government perspective on the Board.  Responsibilities include voting, budgets, recommendations to the Board, and evaluating grants and donations.
