Call for Nominations - Editor-in-Chief, Journal of the Association for Consumer Research

JACR publishes consumer-oriented scholarship (original research and literature reviews) with the aim of addressing marketplaces issues of interest to academicians and practitioners alike. The EIC’s term is typically 3 years, to begin January 1, 2021.


The EIC’s stature in the field should be commensurate with JACR’s high quality, impact, and focus. The EIC typically holds the rank of professor.


Nominations are due by May 11, 2020. The Editor Search Committee (Kathleen Vohs [chair], Darren Dahl, and Eileen Fischer) plan to submit recommendations to the JACR Policy Board by August 30, 2020.


Nominations, which may include self-nominations, should include a CV and brief (1 page) statement. Inquiries or nominations should be submitted to Kathleen Vohs via email (kvohs@umn.edu).
