The Impact of a Routine Schedule on an Intervention With Working Midlife Adults to Form a Walking Habit For More Sustained Physical Activity
We test the impact of a common context, a routine schedule, on a physical activity intervention (developing a walking habit) in working midlife adults. The intervention was more effective in increasing walking for participants with more routine schedules (relative to controls). Stronger developed habits helped intervention participants maintain their walking.
