The Role of Social Virtual World in Increasing Psychological Resilience During the On-Going Covid-19 Pandemic
The current research utilizes the COVID-19 pandemic to identify a novel virtual therapy tool to alleviate individuals’ anxiety and stress associated with the pandemic - individuals who became members of a social virtual world (SVW) via avatars indicated higher psychological resilience towards the threat of potential contagion with COVID-19 virus.
