Enhancing Sensitivity to Probability Through Experiential Sampling of Outcomes

Across six studies, we find that people’s decisions are more sensitive to differences in probabilities when presented in an experiential way rather than being explicitly given. This suggests a novel method for promoting more rational probability weighting.
