How Do Nutrition Promotions Impact Shoppers’ Sensitivity to Price Promotions?
Using frequent shopper data for more than 4,000 shoppers during a thirty-month period, we examine whether and for which shoppers’ sensitivity toward price promotions is affected by heightening the salience of nutritional information via featuring nutrition promotions in a grocery chain’s weekly circular.
