Where to From Here? a Comparison of the Meanings Designed Into Three Public Spaces

A comparison of three public spaces opens up a discussion of the utilisation of public space to represent intended meanings for collective consumption. A public recreation area provided within a housing estate, a public garden designed by a migrant population and a high-profile communal garden, are examined for cultural symbolism.
