An Analysis of the Perceived Value and the Involvement of Football Fans
The study analyzes the value perception and the factors of influence on the fans’ involvement in relation to sports spectacles. In addition to examining these aspects, it was decided for the development of a comparative analysis of data from students, and from fans coming directly from the stadiums. Preliminary results indicate that the respondents perceive an intermediate level of value in the matches, and the factors of influence on involvement presented means between low and intermediate. In the comparison between the two groups of respondents it was observed differences between the groups in more than half of the variables used.
