Narrative Engagement Across Media Forms and Levels of Interactivity

The present paper describes a conceptual structure to organize narrative experiences across genres and media platforms based on the extent to which they approximate real life experiences, and reviews the theoretical and conceptual explanations used to describe and understand narrative experiences.
