Sixth Annual ACR Doctoral Symposium

The sixth annual ACR doctoral symposium will be held on September 28th and 29th at the Crown Plaza Hotel in San Antonio, TX. The symposium will begin with a welcoming reception on Wednesday evening, September 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. The reception will also include informal presentations and a discussion pertaining to publishing scholarly research in consumer behavior journals. Symposium participants will then have the opportunity to join their Ph.D. student and faculty colleagues for dinner at a local restaurant.

On Thursday, September 29th, two morning plenary sessions are planned with topics that pertain to conducting exemplary consumer behavior (CB) research. The panel members / presenters for these plenary sessions will include the top scholars in the field of CB. The afternoon will consist of two breakout sessions (four topical areas per session) that include presentations by a collection of the most active CB scholars from a range of methodological paradigms. The emphasis of these breakout sessions will be identifying and discussing research opportunities in the topical areas covered.

This symposium is open to all Ph.D. students.
